You need a catalyst for Change |
We avoid change….mainly. We prefer comfort. This is the human psyche. They say that “You change for two reasons: Either you learn enough that you want to or you’ve been hurt enough that you have to”
Either way, the change is usually brought about by a catalyst. We should forever be grateful to that catalyst. That catalyst could be anything. Some Catalysts include
My catalyst was a photograph of me from a holiday some years back. I was shocked at the weight that I had piled on and vowed to change. Four years later, I am healthier, more active and working hard to accomplish a dream.
The catalyst provides motivation to instigate change. However, courage and commitment is what makes the change sustainable. After all, change is easier to say that do…..courage and commitment bring about the necessary changes needed within your life and career.
So whether you have learnt enough, or hurt enough. A catalyst for change needs to exist. A promise for a better future, a better life….What’s you catalyst?
