That’s one of the greatest responsibilities of a leader. Leaders are always on show. Leaders have to understand that because everything they have built will come crashing done with a single error, mistake, or crisis
Take Karen Williams, the Mayor of Redland City, where I live here in Qld. Karen has had a distinguished career in local government, being first elected as a councilor on 2004, before being elected as Mayor in 2012, 2016 and again in 2020. Her legacy should be of one who oversaw a lot of growth in the city in terms of population, and business while maintaining liveability.
Her re-election twice would stand testament to her respect amongst the local community and her popularity as a leader.
