So you’re a first-time leader? Here’s what you need to know!

We lost another great one, when on Sunday in the USA, Phillip Seymour Hoffman was found dead in his apartment in New York from an apparent drug overdose. The curse of addiction breaks many great people, and Hoffman joins the list of these…people seemingly with talent at their disposal and dedicated to their art, but unable to unshackle themselves from the curse of addiction.
Most of us suffer the curse of addiction to an extent. Our demons may less extreme, but addicted we are just the same. We may be addicted to a Friday Night at the pub; addicted to the adrenalin of voilence or pornography; addicted to listening to our self-talk; addicted to playing the victim. The list, indeed is endless.
What demons do you face up to? What demons do you give in to? Can you acknowledge your curse of addiction in your life?
